The ideal candidate collaborates closely with lead teachers to implement structured learning programs and promotes a positive, inclusive, and safe environment that enhances student engagement and development. Effective communication with educators and parents is essential to track student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly. This role requires a solid foundation in educational and developmental principles, as demonstrated by at least two years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a background in psychology or education. The Shadow Teacher maintains confidentiality while observing and reporting behavioral and academic progress, encouraging positive social interactions, and fostering patience and empathy in all interactions. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, the assistant contributes significantly to the overall classroom dynamics by supporting individual student growth and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated one-on-one classroom support to assigned students by assisting with academic activities and reinforcing individualized education plans.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement and monitor structured learning programs tailored to each student’s educational needs.
• Manage student behavior by applying positive behavior strategies and encouraging appropriate social interactions.
• Support students in completing their daily academic tasks, ensuring they remain engaged and focused.
• Maintain regular and clear communication with teachers and parents to report on student progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Observe student behavior and learning patterns carefully and provide detailed reports that assist in refining individualized education plans.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that welcomes diversity and caters to different learning styles.
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality policies regarding student information and educational records.
• Use patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude to build trusting relationships with students, helping to boost their confidence and motivation.
• Follow all school and program-specific guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in educational support.
