Computer Hardware Technician

Dynamic Computer seeks a skilled Computer Hardware Technician to join our team and support the maintenance, repair, and installation of computer and laptop hardware. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working in a computer shop environment and possesses practical expertise in diagnosing hardware issues and performing effective solutions. This role requires hands-on skills with various computer components and the ability to provide excellent technical support to customers and internal teams. As part of the responsibilities, the technician collaborates closely with a team of five colleagues and assists in managing daily workflows to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and repair computer and laptop hardware components including motherboards, processors, memory modules, power supplies, and peripherals.
• Diagnose hardware faults through systematic troubleshooting and implement effective repair or replacement strategies.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning hardware components and updating firmware to ensure optimal performance and longevity of hardware.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers seeking assistance with hardware issues or device upgrades.
• Collaborate with a team of five technicians to manage workloads, share knowledge, and improve repair processes.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware repairs, replacements, and customer interactions for quality control and reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations during all hardware handling and repair operations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer hardware technology and recommend improvements or upgrades as appropriate.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking hardware stock levels and coordinating with suppliers to replenish parts.
• Train junior team members and support staff in basic hardware troubleshooting and repair techniques.
